This Privacy Policy applies to the Website www.nandanvaninvestments.com, the Nandanvan mobile application, and other related internet-based platforms (collectively referred to as the Website, Services, or App). The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Guidelines on Digital Lending, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and other relevant laws, rules, and guidelines have all been followed in the drafting of this policy. This policy regulates how we gather, use, keep, disclose, and safeguard sensitive personal data.
1. Consent
By doing this, you specifically agree to disclose any information that may be needed on the services that we are providing. You understand that, depending on your need to use such services, we will gather the data specified in this Privacy Policy in order to cooperate with different financial lenders, third parties, service providers, and others to support lending and non-lending services.
The information will only be used by Nandanvan to deliver services to you. You must READ, UNDERSTAND, ACKNOWLEDGE, AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY in order to use any services offered by Nandanvan, either independently or in collaboration with other third parties.
2. Information Collected and Used by Nandanvan
In accordance with applicable laws, Nandanvan works to incorporate privacy into all of its operations and respects the privacy of its users. We understand how important it is to protect your personal information and how important it is to be transparent about how we gather, use, keep, transfer/disclose, and dispose of information that comes from using our goods, services, online portals, and mobile applications.
Such information of the User may include personal details (such as name, address, date of birth, photograph, father’s name, mother’s name, etc.), contact details (such as residential address, email address, telephone/mobile number), business details (such as employment type, business type, industry, employer details), health information (such as disability, medical treatments, surgeries if voluntarily provided), credit and financial information (such as bank name, account number, bank transactions, loans, credit history), and device information (such as location, messages, contacts, call logs, emails, log information, search queries, IP address, IMEI number, crashes, date and time, browser web storage, application data caches, cookies, and similar technologies) (collectively referred to as “Customer Data”).
We may also work closely with affiliates, third-party business partners, technical sub-contractors, analytics providers, search information providers, credit information companies, and account aggregators, and may lawfully receive information about you from such sources. Such information may be combined with information collected on the App and other information as provided in this Policy.
Sensitive Personal Data: As defined by Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, "sensitive personal data or information" for the purposes of this policy may include passwords, biometric data, financial information, health information, and other identifiers.
3. Purpose of Collection
In addition to the types of data we gather in section 2 above, we may utilize the data for the following purposes:
- To fulfill your request for goods or services.
- To give our partners information so they can make decisions about your credit.
- To assist in looking into infractions of our terms of use or to protect ourselves from lawsuits.
- To divulge information in response to requests from legal authorities, court orders, or local legislation.
- To recognize, stop, detect, or deal with terrorism, money laundering, fraud, or other crimes.
- To contact you via phone, email, SMS, or letter regarding our goods and services.
- For risk evaluations, internal audits, and service enhancements.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
At Nandanvan, we pledge to apply the proper security measures, depending on the type of data and how it is handled, to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, and disclosure of your personal information. We keep information on you for as long as it's required to deliver services, adhere to legal laws, or fulfill regulatory duties. Subject to legal and regulatory constraints, users may request that data be deleted. Using authorized destruction methods, data will be safely erased. Please be aware that using our services may be restricted if specific data is deleted.
5. Sharing of Information
Except in the following situations, Nandanvan does not rent, sell, or otherwise divulge your personal information to third parties:
- With your express permission.
- For service delivery, with banks, financial institutions, co-lending partners, and service providers.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfer
If your data is processed or stored outside of India, it will be done so in accordance with relevant law and with the necessary procedures to guarantee sufficient protection. You agree to this transfer by using our services.
7. Data Security and Breach Management
We uphold industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security protocols to safeguard your personal data. Nandanvan will immediately initiate its Incident Management Protocol in the case of a data breach, take corrective action, and notify impacted users in compliance with applicable regulations and legal requirements.
8. User Rights
At any moment, you are entitled to access, examine, update, and correct your personal data. Subject to legal and regulatory requirements, you can also request that your information be deleted or revoke your consent for data processing. By exercising these rights, we may be unable to provide you with services.
9. Minors’ Data
Only those who are at least eighteen years old are eligible to use our services. We don't intentionally gather children' personal data. As soon as we learn that such data has been gathered, we will promptly remove it.
10. Third-Party Policies
In order to deliver our services or in relation to the app, we might collaborate with outside service providers. Please be aware that any interactions you have with these third parties will be subject to their own privacy rules. To learn how your information will be handled, we advise you to read their policies. Third-party service providers' actions or inactions will not subject Nandanvan to liability.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this privacy statement to reflect modifications to our policies or to comply with legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on our website/app and sent to the email address you registered with.

This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms of Use of Nandanvan’ Services and is legally binding on all users.
Annexure 1 – Permissions Required
The following permissions may be asked from your device in order for the Nandanvan App to operate and provide services. Such permissions will only be accessible with your approval and in compliance with this Privacy Policy:
1. SMS
In order to confirm financial transactions and evaluate creditworthiness, we might scan SMS headers from senders who use six-digit alphanumeric characters. Other than those issued by Nandanvan, we don't read or examine private SMS messages or OTPs. To aid in credit assessment and fraud detection, data including sender name, SMS header, and timestamp may be gathered.
2. Device ID and Status
To confirm your identification, we might want to check your phone status and device ID. This establishes the legitimacy of digital transactions and connects the customer's identification to the device.
3. Services for Location
In order to confirm your current address, evaluate serviceability, spot anomalous activity, and stop fraudulent transactions, we might gather and track your location information. Only if you allow such access on your device will location data be gathered.
4. Storage for Phones
To enable you to upload supporting documents for loan processing and verification, such as bank statements, proof of identity, and proof of address, we might need authorization to access your device storage.
5. A camera and microphone
In order to take selfies, submit photos, record audio and video for KYC verification, and upload documents needed for your loan application, we might need access to your device's camera and microphone.
6. Device Details
Device-related data, including IP address, browser type, operating system, hardware model, software version, and unique device identifiers, may be gathered. We can detect fraud, stop illegal access, and uniquely identify devices thanks to this information.
13. User Consent for Permissions
You expressly agree to the collection and use of your personal data and device permissions as outlined in this Privacy Policy, including but not limited to the permissions specified in Annexure 1, by installing, accessing, or using the Nandanvan App and Services. Only after receiving your permission via the app's permission request prompts may such permissions be accessed.
By contacting us or removing such rights from your device's settings, you can revoke your consent at any time. However, please be aware that if certain permissions are denied or removed, some services might not work correctly or might stop being offered.
